FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – A 17-year-old Fort Wayne teen is asking the community to join her Sunday in collecting donations for people experiencing homelessness, as part of a grassroots initiative she founded called R.E.A.C.H.
Natalia Kleinrichert, a senior at Bishop Dwenger High School, said she started R.E.A.C.H. after navigating her own medical challenges as a child.
Last year, Kleinrichert said she raised 6,800 dollars and distributed 100 blessing bags to people on local streets. Her mother, Amy Kleinrichert, said the response made clear how significant the need is in Fort Wayne right now.
“The food we give, the blessing bags we gave them were gone…,” Amy Kleinrichert said. “So that tells you the need that’s out there.”…
