PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — Temperatures in the low 70s out the door Thursday morning. It’s a VERY humid start to the day and that moisture is creating areas of patchy, dense fog. Decreased visibility is mainly in the mountains and foothills.
Fog should lift by mid-morning. Afternoon temperatures reach the upper 80s and isolated storms are possible by late afternoon. The chance for rain is 40%. Not everyone sees rain, but heavy downpours are possible for some.
