On Thursday, a free teacher-supply store in Orange County was replenished following a community-wide supply drive.
The program is dedicated to providing classroom materials to nearly 200 public school teachers, supporting their important work and making a positive difference in students’ learning experiences.
A Gift for Teaching reported that the drive provided a third of the supplies needed for the year. The nonprofit notes over 50% of students arrive on the first day without supplies.
Local businesses and community members generously contributed to the restock as a heartfelt way of giving back to our school system. The donated items will be shared through the free store to support educators in getting their classrooms ready…
