SEEKONK, Mass. (WPRI) — Addi Russell and her husband were walking back to their car Monday afternoon after visiting the Stop & Shop in Seekonk when the couple noticed something unusual on the ground.
“I picked it up because it was heart shaped, and I was like, ‘what is this?’” Russell recalled. “I saw it just said, ‘mom forever in my heart’ on it … then I realized at the top of it there was a screw, which usually means there’s something inside.”
Russell told 12 News it was at that point she realized it was a cremation necklace charm.
“I have a cremation necklace of my own so I know what that screw looks like,” Russell said. “That’s when my stomach dropped.”…
