NC health officials still looking to find the source of cyclosporiasis outbreak; cases continue to rise

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Cases of cyclosporiasis continue to rise in North Carolina, according to the state health department. In their newest update, there are 867 reported cases, and 33 people are in the hospital.

More than half of the confirmed cases in the state are in Wake County, which is reporting 497 cases.
