Salesforce plans fourth round of San Francisco layoffs in under a year

Salesforce plans to eliminate approximately dozens of jobs at its San Francisco headquarters, marking the company’s fourth round of local layoffs in roughly 11 months.

The permanent cuts at the city’s largest employer are scheduled to begin Oct. 5 at Salesforce’s office at 415 Mission St., according to a notice filed Wednesday with state officials.
