On Tuesday night, officers with the Chula Vista Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery in the parking lot of Bayside Park.
Investigators determined that a male victim was approached and robbed at gunpoint in what appeared to be an unprovoked incident. Following the robbery, the primary suspect fled the scene in a white Volkswagen Jetta driven by an adult female. Officers noted that both the suspect and vehicle descriptions matched a similar robbery reported at the same park several days prior.
