STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Authorities allege that two Staten Island men were part of a group that slashed and beat a victim in a daylight assault at a park in St. George.
The victim needed 45 stitches to close wounds on his back and arms from the attack, which occurred around noon on July 22 at Lt. Lia Park at St. Mark’s Place and Wall Street, according to the criminal complaint and a law enforcement source.
