International recognition highlights improvements in patient safety, emergency nursing, testing times and care for victims of violence and abuse
WILMINGTON — ChristianaCare’s Wilmington Hospital Emergency Department has received the Emergency Nurses Association’s Lantern Award for a second consecutive cycle, recognizing the department for excellence in nursing practice, patient safety and innovation.
The new designation covers 2026 through 2029. The emergency department previously received the award for the 2023-26 cycle.
