MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – If you’re heading out this Thursday evening, you’ll find a pretty nice end to the day across southern Wisconsin. High temperatures have climbed into the upper 70s to mid-80s, with the warmest readings in south-central Wisconsin where skies have been clearest. Enjoy the evening as tonight brings another round of fog to watch for.
With light winds and lingering low-level moisture from recent rainfall, fog is possible again tonight, mainly from the Madison to Janesville corridor and points west. If skies clear enough overnight, conditions will be ripe for patchy fog to develop. If you’re driving late tonight or early Friday morning, give yourself extra time and keep your speed down in low-visibility areas.
Friday looks mostly dry through the morning and afternoon. There’s a chance of a shower or two during the day, but most of southern Wisconsin will likely stay dry until later in the day.
