WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A new Youth Curfew Zone was announced in D.C. in Columbia Heights for this upcoming weekend.
Multiple Smithsonian museums on National Mall closed due to mechanical issues
A Youth Curfew Zone applies to groups of at least nine youth in an area at risk for disorderly conduct.

- To the north: Park Road, Northwest, from 11th Street, Northwest, to 16th Street, Northwest
- To the east: 11th Street, Northwest, from Park Road, Northwest, to Euclid Street, Northwest
- To the south: 16th Street, Northwest, from Park Road, Northwest, to Euclid Street, Northwest
- To the west: Euclid Street, Northwest, from 11th Street, Northwest, to 16th Street, Northwest
The Youth Curfew Zone will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 7, and Saturday, Aug. 8.
Persons under 18 are prohibited from gathering in a group of nine or more in any public place or on the premises of any establishment unless engaged in certain exempted activities, which are listed here…
