Arizona finally has its first Buc-ee’s—here’s what could come next

Arizona no longer has to watch from the sidelines as Buc-ee’s expands across the country. The state’s long-awaited debut follows the opening date tracked in earlier coverage of Arizona’s first Buc-ee’s, and now the biggest question is whether Goodyear will remain the chain’s only Arizona stop.

Buc-ee’s opened at 1001 N. Bullard Avenue in Goodyear on June 22, 2026. The location sits just off Interstate 10 west of Phoenix, putting it along the major highway connecting Arizona with Southern California, New Mexico and Texas.

This is not a normal gas station. The Goodyear travel center spans approximately 74,000 square feet and includes 120 fueling positions. It operates around the clock and offers the full Buc-ee’s experience: freshly carved barbecue, Beaver Nuggets, jerky, fudge, bakery items, fountain drinks, road-trip supplies and an enormous souvenir section…
