PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) – Multiple people were arrested and a large quantity of drugs was seized during three operations by the Narcotics and Organized Crime Unit this week, according to the Portland Police Bureau.
The first operation happened in Troutdale on Tuesday, Aug. 4. Police said detectives seized 13 pounds of methamphetamine and identified several people believed to be connected to multi-state drug trafficking organizations.
On Wednesday, Aug. 5, detectives seized about 328 grams of fentanyl and $1,270 in cash in the 9800 block of Southeast Washington Street. Police said one person was arrested on drug-related charges.
Also on Wednesday, detectives conducted an operation in the area of Southeast 33rd Avenue and Southeast Oak Street, where police said they seized 2.5 pounds of fentanyl, 45.2 grams of heroin, and $1,650 in cash. One person was arrested on drug-related charges.
