If you own a house in Tucson with a big backyard—or a corner lot you’ve never known what to do with—the city just gave you a lot more options.
Property owners across most of Tucson can now build duplexes, triplexes, fourplexes, townhomes, and cottage courts on residential lots. A middle housing code amendment published last December took effect at the start of this year.
The city’s Planning and Development Services Department hosted two public training sessions in March about the code amendments.
