A Knoxville homeowner says she walked into a situation that would make most folks keep their kids and dogs inside: the neighbor across the street allegedly turned her privacy fence into a backstop for target practice, firing from his front yard across the road to hit it.
In the original post, the 30-year-old woman described living alone with two dogs in a house she owns on a corner lot. She said the big backyard was a major reason she bought the place—and now she feels like she can’t safely use it.
A weekly routine turned into something a lot more direct
According to her account, the shooting had been going on for months. She said the neighbor and his son, whom she estimated to be around 12, would set up in their front yard at least once a week and shoot an air rifle at something in their own yard.
