SAN DIEGO (FOX5/KUSI)— San Diego police are increasing enforcement along the city’s beaches and boardwalks as summer crowds continue to pack coastal communities.
Officers are patrolling by truck and ATV, watching for violations ranging from drinking alcohol on the beach to unsafe e-bike riding along crowded boardwalks.
During a recent ride-along with the San Diego Police Department, officers contacted several people who were drinking alcohol on the beach. Police say alcohol remains one of the most common violations they encounter during the summer season…
