AUSTIN (KXAN) – A Travis County jury has found Sherles Gregorio Machado-Hernandez guilty of capital murder in the 2024 shooting deaths of his common-law wife and another man in southeast Austin.
Machado-Hernandez, 31, was convicted in the killings of Francis Kaina Anseume Corredor, 27, and Bryan Florentino Flores Alvarez, 19, who were found dead inside a vehicle at an apartment complex on Burton Drive in Austin’s Riverside neighborhood. Machado-Hernandez will receive an automatic life sentence in prison.
