PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV/Gray News) – An arborist died after being hit by a falling tree in Portland earlier this week, according to Portland Fire and Rescue.
Authorities said a member of an arborist team was clearing trees when a tree unrelated to their work uprooted and landed on the worker.
The person was pronounced dead at the scene.
