AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. – The Spokane Independent Investigative Response (SIRR) Team is conducting an investigation into an incident involving the Airway Heights Police Department and Spokane County Sheriff’s Office that occurred on July 31, during which a man was shot and killed by law enforcement personnel.
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious man who was shirtless and acting erratically before entering a vacant home that was listed for sale.
