ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — An Asheville police forensics team was in Carrier Park Friday, Aug. 7, collecting evidence after a Flock camera there was vandalized.
When News 13 arrived at the park along Amboy Road, the camera had already been reinstalled, but there were signs someone had tried to obscure the lens with paint and had removed the camera from its original post.
It’s not the first time a Flock camera has been damaged in western North Carolina as the technology becomes more prevalent and faces increased public scrutiny.
