The Erie County Sheriff’s Office is praising the efforts of its Warrant Team after deputies successfully located and apprehended an individual who had been mistakenly released from prison before serving a state sentence on criminal charges.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, investigators spent the day following up on leads and conducting an extensive investigation to track down the individual. Their efforts culminated in the person’s safe arrest and return to custody.
