Rockford public schools will bring back final exams for high school students

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Public Schools high schoolers will return to the classroom next Thursday to find a change in curriculum requirements as the district brings back final exams. District administrators announced the decision following feedback gathered from students, staff and families.

The reintroduced finals will account for 10% of a student’s total semester grade. The requirement applies to all high school students within the district with the exception of those attending Roosevelt.
