Alberta Street Pub drive-by ‘changed everything’ for shooting victim, owner says

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Days after a woman was shot and seriously injured in a drive-by shooting while standing outside the Alberta Street Pub, the owner is now highlighting the family’s fundraiser and recovery journey.

“Still just processing everything that went down. It’s just a senseless act. Makes no sense,” Alberta Street Pub Co-Owner Tyrone Hendrix told KOIN 6 News.

Hendrix said shootings like this aren’t common at the pub, which is a popular neighborhood spot. He is now pointing to a GoFundMe fundraiser put on by the family of the victim to support her during the recovery process.

“I just want to make sure that we do not lose focus on this young lady, her family, that this has now changed everything for them.”…
