Thousands are expected to converge on Brooklyn on Saturday, Aug. 8, for the inaugural Jamaica Day Parade, the first parade in the United States dedicated exclusively to celebrating Jamaica, its people, culture, achievements and global impact.
Organized by the Jamaica Rising Day Parade organization, the landmark event is expected to bring together Jamaicans and friends of Jamaica from across New York, the United States, and around the world for an “unforgettable day of pride, unity, culture and celebration.
