LACEY — A New York woman was killed and an infant was injured in a Friday, Aug. 7 crash that shut down the northbound lanes of the Garden State Parkway, police said.
The crash occurred near milepost 75.8, where a New Jersey State Police investigation determined that a Toyota sedan, driven by 26-year-old Johan Mendez of New York, veered off the roadway and struck a guardrail on the left side of the highway, state police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said in a statement.
