CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — A mother has been charged with murder following the death of her 21-year-old daughter in Cranston last week.
On the morning of July 27, officers responded to a first-floor apartment on Kingwood Avenue to find Anna Maria Angelosanto, 62, suffering from apparent self-inflicted injuries. She was taken to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment.
Police also discovered her daughter, Alexandra Straccia, dead in another bedroom.
