LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — Rep. Danny McCormick plans to introduce legislation next spring to ban mass surveillance Flock cameras. The proposal aims to address concerns regarding the tracking capabilities and privacy implications of the camera systems.
Flock cameras have become a subject of debate due to their ability to monitor vehicle movements. While many units are operated by police agencies, others are managed by different entities, and the locations of these cameras are currently available to the public.
