SCOTT, La. (NEWS 15) — Chris Domingue has been named the new fire chief for the Scott Fire Department after former Chief Chad Sonnier became Louisiana state fire marshal.
The department expressed pride in Sonnier’s new position and the legacy and accomplishments he left at the Scott Fire Department.
Domingue has been involved in the fire service for most of his life. He began as a volunteer firefighter before applying to and being hired by the Lafayette Fire Department. He later made the fire service his full-time career…
