The Shreveport Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Thurgood Circle.
Responding officers located a 26 year-old man suffering from several gunshot wounds. A woman was also found with a gunshot wound to the leg. The man was pronounced deceased at the scene, and the woman was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The investigation indicates that the woman’s romantic partner had arrived at the home shortly before her former boyfriend came to the property and allegedly attempted to force his way inside the home.
