26-unit condo project considered by council

A second reading and adoption of an ordinance that would clear the way for the construction of a 26-unit condominium project goes before the Garden Grove City Council on Tuesday.

The project would be built on a 1.8-acre parcel located on the southeast corner of Russell Avenue and Kerry Street and would require a change in zoning from single-family to multiple residential and planned unit development.

Also on the agenda will be an agreement with Chipman Relocation & Logistics of $80,000 for moving services associated with the relocation of the police department to its new facility at Euclid Street and Acacia Parkway. The move will take place over “multiple weekends.”…
