The historic building includes approximately 5,645 SF on its main level and an additional 5,609 SF on the lower level. The property originally served as the Silver Spring Post Office and dates to the 1930s. Montgomery County documents identify 8412 Georgia Avenue as the site of the 1937 Silver Spring Post Office.
The building has housed a variety of tenants since its days as a post office. Its most recent tenant was Unleashed by Petco, which opened at the location in 2015 and closed in January 2022 after nearly seven years in the space.
