Assault trial begins for retired FDNY member involved in Staten Island love triangle

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.— A retired city firefighter is standing trial on Staten Island for charges of burglary and assault, after an incident last year involving his wife and a local middle school teacher.

Prosecutors say Kevin Williams, 59, of Richmond, roughed up the teacher and his own wife after finding them together inside the teacher’s home on the night of Nov. 7, 2025.

Both Williams and his wife are scheduled to testify at trial. The male victim, William Falcone, died before the trial started.
