Staten Island pizzeria opens second location in St. George

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Royal Pizza has expanded to St. George, recently opening a second location at 5 Hyatt St.

The new outpost joins the pizzeria’s original Rossville location, which opened two years ago. While rooted in classic New York pizzeria traditions, the St. George shop brings Royal’s lineup of specialty pies, heroes, pasta dishes and Italian-American favorites to the borough’s North Shore.

Mario Marke, owner of Royal Pizza, said the new location has drawn customers from across the borough during its inaugural days in business. Many visitors work nearby in the courts and government offices, while others already know the pizzeria from its original home at 1757 Arthur Kill Rd.
