HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Horry County police last week arrested a man accused of breaking into a home, running around and assaulting a person inside it, according to an incident report obtained by News13.
Officers responded Thursday to the area of Gunters Island Road and Old Camp Road for a suspicious man walking along the road, the report shows. While an officer was canvassing the area, a vehicle stopped him and the driver told him that the man was inside a home on Gunters Island Road.
The people at the home told the officer that the man had broken into the home through a side window and started running around the house, causing damage and assaulting them, according to the report. A witness said the man then barricaded himself inside a bedroom in the corner of the home…
