Four wins in 48 hours propelled Carpet Land/Lincoln East to American Legion World Series. The Rugs finished off their run through the elimination bracket in the Central Plains Regional Tournament in Mandan, N. Dak., with back-to-back 5-1 wins over Rapid City (S.D.) on Sunday.
