GREENSBORO, NC (WGHP) — From the feel of the bow and the sound it makes as it crosses the strings, to those strings themselves when they are played. Some budding elementary school musicians are getting the feel of their instruments for the first time.
It’s all part of the Mini Maestros camp at the summer arts institute for Guilford County Schools, taught by Dr. Matthew Wilson.
“They’re learning the fundamentals of violin, viola and cello,” he says. “We’ve started working with left-hand stuff. They’re starting to learn the bows and everything”…
