CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — The Cedar Community School District’s school board unanimously approved $20,000 early, voluntary retirement incentives for teachers Monday.
The bonuses are for teachers who are eligible to retire at the end of this upcoming school year. This incentive is on a first come, first serve basis for 40 teachers total.
This vote comes after the board approved a similar incentive for building administrators in July…
