SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — One man is arrested following a deadly shooting in Springfield Sunday night.
According to the Springfield Police Department (SPD), officers were called to the 2500 block of W. Water St. just before 8 p.m. Sunday. Once they arrived, officers found a man who had been shot.
The victim, identified as 32-year-old Paxton Barnett of Springfield, was taken to the hospital for treatment, but he died from his injuries later that night. Another man is currently in custody pending formal charges…
