TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — School is back in session in Hillsborough County which means hundreds of families will be relying on afterschool programs. But some of those programs could be at risk following a property tax vote in November.
“I meet a lot of new kids. They help you out with sports more and stuff like that, help me with homework. If you don’t know how to do it, they can help you,” said Daundre Butler, a student in the afterschool program at the Rowlett Activity Center.
