U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement placed a hold on an Apopka teen stopped with a fraudulent ID.
A trooper observed 19-year-old Americo Chaman Xol driving a white Dodge Ram pickup truck with a cement mixer in tow in the outside lane of southbound U.S. Hwy. 27 in Leesburg around 5:25 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, according to an arrest report from the Florida Highway Patrol.
The back of the cement mixer was covered in cement debris, covering the rear light covers, with no lights displayed as operational and no license plate affixed to the trailer. The temporary tag on the truck displayed an expiration date of June 18. The trooper subsequently stopped the vehicle along the west shoulder, just south of Bridges Road, the report said.
He then asked Chaman Xol for his driver’s license, to which he indicated he did not have one. Dispatch advised that he had no warrants or licenses. The tag on his truck had indeed expired in June, and the vehicle had been stopped for a toll violation on July 26.
