Lawanna Gelzer is emphasizing affordability and delivering results in the District 6 Orange County Commissioner race. “For too long, your voices have been ignored while decisions favored special interest groups, tax dollars enriched corporate executives, and promises to our neighborhoods were broken,” candidate Lawanna Gelzer wrote to voters. “Rents, grocery prices, and gas prices keep rising, but jobs fail to cover the cost. Traffic keeps getting worse with no alternative, local businesses are closing, wetlands are disappearing, and no one in leadership is willing to take accountability. I am running for County Commissioner to change that.”

“I believe in Orange County and the people who live here. Your tax dollars should fix our roads, create opportunities for jobs that pay a living wage, and deliver the services that you deserve,” Lawanna Gelzer continued. “I believe in a system that works for the people, not the powerful. That means supporting local businesses, protecting the local environment and keeping local government transparent and accountable. Above all, I believe a County Commissioner should always work for you.”
