WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – A new nursing scholarship honoring a longtime Novant Health leader who died last August is already helping local medical professionals continue their education.
The Freddy Simpson Nursing Scholarship Fund was officially recognized Monday afternoon as family, friends, and colleagues gathered at the Novant Health Rehabilitation Hospital to honor his legacy.
