Man charged in deadly rideshare shooting in S Portland appears in court

PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) – A man charged with second-degree murder in a shooting near the Portland ICE facility appeared in court Monday.

Mahmoud Said Ali, 42, faces charges of second-degree murder and unlawful use of a weapon in the death of 41-year-old Anwar Osman. Newly released court documents reveal details about the moments leading up to the shooting.
