PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — A 44-year-old man was sentenced to 20 years in prison on Monday after pleading guilty to crimes associated with a violent armed robbery spree last year that “terrorized multiple communities” for nearly an hour and a half, the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office said.
Jeffrey Thomas Boone pleaded guilty to charges of first-degree robbery with a firearm, first-degree assault and felon in possession of a firearm.
According to a DA’s Office news release, Boone was involved in at least six incidents in Multnomah County during that hour and a half on Feb. 16, 2025, before driving to Vancouver in a stolen car where he allegedly burglarized a home and stole a pickup truck that he used to drive back into Oregon, where police finally caught him after crashing the pickup and trying to run away…
