HOLT, Mich. (News 10) – Music Instrument Swap, which boasts Lansing’s largest selection of used guitars and Michigan’s largest selection of used drums, is helping rock Mid-Michigan this summer. Owner Shawn VanSteeland recently joined Studio 10 to share how his business is supporting local musicians and bringing people together.
This August, the shop is hosting a spectacular lineup of free community concerts at various local venues, including Grand Ledge’s Music in the Park and Mason’s Sundried Festival. VanSteeland emphasized that watching audiences of up to 1,500 people gather in local parks to enjoy live music for free is his favorite part of these events.
