SUMNER COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A North Carolina man has been sentenced to 21 years in prison for the burglary of an elderly man’s home in Hendersonville.
In May, a Sumner County jury found Kippy Lee Lynch guilty of breaking into the sleeping victim’s home and stealing numerous firearms, ammunition, and other valuables.

Officers with the Sumner County Sheriff’s Department took Lynch into custody after a traffic stop for suspected driving under the influence.
District Attorney General Thomas Dean said the arrest revealed evidence of Lynch’s involvement in the break-in.
Prosecutors at trial showed that Lynch and his unnamed female co-defendant were under the influence of cocaine during the burglary, and that his personal Bible was found along with discarded property taken from the victim’s home…
