DENVER (KDVR) — As drought-related fishing restrictions continue to impact the South Platte River, a local guide is continuing his decade-long efforts to preserve and conserve.
The water level at Spinney Mountain Reservoir isn’t just dropping; it’s jaw-droppingly low. As fly fishing guide Landon Mayer said, in a typical year, it’s at about 75% capacity or higher, but it’s nowhere near that right now.
