MADISON COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — A person is dead following a single-vehicle accident that happened in the early-morning hours of Aug. 12 in Madison County.
According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, the accident happened at approximately 6:25 a.m. on U.S. 25/70 near the intersection of Fore Road.
The Highway Patrol said that according to the initial investigation, the SUV ran off the right side of the road and overturned several times before coming to rest on its right side. Madison County EMS responded and reported that the driver was deceased…
