LEICESTER, N.C. (WLOS) — A speeding stop in Buncombe County turned into a chase and crash Tuesday, ending with the driver being taken to the hospital and charges still pending.
Around 8:50 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 25, troopers tried to pull over a vehicle for speeding on NC-63 in Leicester, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol. Authorities said the pursuit began after the driver refused to stop.
