From Milan High School to some of the Navy’s newest technology beneath the sea, Petty Officer 1st Class Alayna Humes has built a career around adapting to what comes next.
Humes, a 2018 Milan High School graduate, is one of the sailors assigned to the Navy’s first unmanned undersea group in Keyport, Washington. She joined the Navy seven years ago and now serves as an electronics technician specializing in submarine navigation.
